Monthly Fly Tying & Social Nights

Even if you don't tie our monthly nights are a great way to meet fellow anglers!

Our Monthly Fly Tying Nights are a fantastic way to connect with fellow anglers on a regular basis. Join us every second Thursday of the month, where you can relax, tie some flies, chat and have some great banter with like minded individuals. It’s a great opportunity to learn from each other and build lasting friendships.

We always welcome new attendees no matter what their experience level may be we have plenty gear for you to use to see if you like it before you commit to buying any of your own gear, if you do have your own gear feel free to bring it along!

We do not follow any kind of structure so you are free to tie whatever you like, if you are unsure on how to tie different patterns or if it is your first ever time tying there is always someone willing to lend a hand and show you the ropes (or should I say Threads).

Everyone is welcome no matter if you are a member or not! We have everyone from the age of 9 – 99 come along, some of our elderly attendees eyes aren’t quite as good as they used to be so they no longer tie but still come along for the chat, banter cake and coffee and anyone is welcome to do just this!

There is no charge for these nights however a donation box will be available for anyone wishing to donate to help us with room hire costs, donations are completely optional and there is certainly no obligation!

We also provide a FREE selection of tea, coffee,

hot chocolate, diluting juice, biscuits and cake!

These nights are great for your mental health!

We can’t wait to see you at our next Fly Tying Night!

We hold these nights between 18:30 and 21:00 at

Howden Park Centre
